EVENT BOOKING terms and conditions

  • For all group bookings of 11 guests or more, a set menu is required.

    One set menu must be selected for the entire table. Individual guests will not be able to order from the à la carte menu.

    All set menus are served as a sharing-style banquet menu.

    For festive and Christmas bookings, the festive sharing-style banquet set menu must be selected for the entire table.

    The Standard Set Menu is available outside the festive period of 23 November 2026 to 10 January 2027.

    The Festive Set Menu is available from 23 November 2026 to 10 January 2027.

    The number of set menus confirmed at the time of booking is considered final for billing purposes. Reductions in guest numbers, including amendments made within 24 hours of the reservation or no-shows, will not reduce the charge. The original number of set menus booked will be charged in full.

    Final guest numbers must be confirmed at least 24 hours prior to the reservation.

    Any increase in guest numbers is subject to availability and must be approved by the restaurant in advance.

  • Dry hire is subject to venue availability, event requirements and management approval.

    A dry hire booking provides exclusive use of the agreed event space for the confirmed hire period. The specific areas included, hire duration, access for setup and breakdown, permitted suppliers, drinks, entertainment, production and any additional services will be confirmed separately in writing as part of the event proposal.

    Dry hire does not automatically include drinks, entertainment, staffing, production, AV equipment, furniture, decorations, security or other event services unless specifically agreed and included in the event proposal.

    Any external suppliers must be approved by Mistress of Mayfair in advance and must comply with the venue's operational, licensing, health and safety requirements.

    Additional charges may apply for extended setup or breakdown periods, specialist production, staffing, security, cleaning, equipment or other requirements outside the agreed dry hire package.

  • We request smart, elegant attire.

    Prohibited items include caps, large chains, hoodies, tracksuits, hoods, large printed designer tops, shoulder-strap man bags, sleeveless tops, sunglasses, activewear, sports trainers, shorts and sandals.

    Management reserves the right to refuse entry where guests do not comply with the venue's dress code.

  • Please arrive promptly at your confirmed arrival time.

    For private events and dry hire, access times for setup, event operation and breakdown will be confirmed in advance. Additional time outside the agreed hire period may be subject to additional charges and venue availability.

    For restaurant bookings, reservations are held for a maximum of 15 minutes. If you are running late, please contact us on +44 (0)20 3727 6997.

  • Your allocated seating time will be stated on your booking confirmation.

    Tables must be vacated at the agreed time to accommodate subsequent reservations. Guests are welcome to continue their evening in the bar or Club area, subject to availability and any applicable minimum spend.

  • All guests must be 18 years of age or older.

    Valid photographic identification may be requested upon entry. Mistress of Mayfair reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone unable to provide valid proof of age

  • Where a deposit is required, the deposit will be redeemed against the final bill or agreed event charges, as applicable.

    Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing by the venue.

    Full payment terms, including any deposit, minimum spend, venue hire fee or additional event charges, will be confirmed in the event proposal and booking confirmation.

  • To allow us to prepare appropriately for larger parties and private events, the following cancellation policy applies to group reservations of 11 guests or more.

    More than 48 hours before the reservation: No cancellation charge.

    Within 48 hours of the reservation: Full cancellation fee applies.

    No-show: Full cancellation fee applies.

    Cancellation terms for dry hire and exclusive venue events may differ and will be confirmed in the event agreement.

  • Final guest numbers must be confirmed at least 24 hours prior to the reservation.

    Reductions in guest numbers within 24 hours of the booking may still be charged for each missing guest.

    Increases in guest numbers are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

  • Mistress of Mayfair reserves the right to refuse service or cancel a booking in exceptional circumstances, including inappropriate, threatening or disruptive behaviour, failure to comply with venue policies, licensing requirements or health and safety regulations.
